Our objective is to ensure health and safety of our employees, to conduct our business in such a way that third parties are not exposed to health of safety risks and to comply with all the statutory and other requirements applicable to our business.

Company has overall responsibility for ensuring that this policy is being implemented. Health and Safety Representatives will be appointed to carry out inspections, identify and analyze accidents and incidents, carry out risk assessments, and monitor health and safety requirements and legislation. Company will monitor the policy through reports from Health & Safety Representatives and Safety Officers and regular feedback from Departmental Managers and Masters.
The day to day responsibility for these matters is delegated to the Departmental Managers and Masters. They have a defined responsibility to introduce, monitor and oversee arrangements made within their own area of responsibility to comply with this policy.
General Manager is responsible for the occupational health and safety and for providing the link between the ship and the board of directors for all matters relating to the safe operation of each ship.
Our prime objective is reduce any trouble regarding health and safety to a minimum level, with a conscious of responsibility. To assist this aim we will provide information, instruction, training and supervision as appropriate.
 
In particular, for the sake of proper and prompt implementation of above, we will;
 
• Provide and maintain work systems which are safe and without risks to health.
• Maintain the place of work, including access and exits under our control in a condition that is safe and without risks to health and adequate as regards welfare at work.
• Provide and maintain a working environment which is safe and without risks to health.
• Ensure that all safety equipments are fully operational. 
 
An important element of this policy is;
• Life and property safety always comes first aboard the ships.
• The safety rules defined by national and international rules and regulations shall be obeyed.
• The safety element shall always be taken into consideration primarily for the activities aboard ships and no sacrifice shall be made in this aspect.
• No activities threatening ship, life, property and environment safety will be allowed aboard the ship.
• Safety related issues shall be given priority in training activities.
• Entire personnel shall participate physically to the muster drills associated with safety.
• No smoking shall be allowed throughout the ship other than appointed  smoking areas.
• The firefighting equipment, fixed and portable firefighting systems shall be kept operational and ready for emergency utilization at all times.
• Necessary measures shall be taken at the ports in order to secure physical safety of the ship
• The deliberate activities seriously threatening safety of the ship shall be considered a reason for termination of employment contract.
 
Shipboard personnel can not cause any harm or trouble to their self or other personnel around, while performing their duty during their own shift. This policy is reviewed annually, or under circumstances where significant change is noted.
