On the basis of customer requirements, to provide a service of utmost quality and reliability that meets international transportation standards and regulations is essential. 
 
All İcetanker vessels are managed in accordance with safety, environmental protection and quality systems standards. This safer, effective, environmentally protective management system is defined with the following standards;
 
• International, national, local rules and regulations
• International conventions, codes and procedures
• Contracts and customer requisitions
 
The system consists of some ship/office manuals, instructions and procedures. The person(s) who is appointed by İcetanker for this purpose serves as a Quality Manager in shore operations. Appointed person(s) hold a top authority to supervise the implementation of the Quality Management System and employees’ contribution thereto.
SQEMS and other manuals are reviewed from time to time to ensure all predefined company policies are in place and effective. All company policies are defined and approved by the General Manager to ensure the company’s top responsibilities of the quality. Trainings provided for the candidates and employees of the company is an essential procedure to ensure safety. İcetanker employ “Quality Development System”, target of which is to be the best company and management in the market. Each master has a responsibility to enforce Quality Development System onboard, in accordance with company targets. Continual increase in performance rests upon such conditions as understanding of the need of quality improvement, efforts from all personnel to avoid mistakes and implementation of Quality Development System throughout the all organization which İcetanker governs.
İcetanker will carry out necessary controls to determine intended outcome is attained. The aim of controls is to observe whether procedures are followed with utmost attention. 
Our objective is to comply with all legislation, official codes of practice and other practices which assist in providing an active quality policy that protect the environment and safe operation of each ship. Each head of department is responsible for implementing quality actions within his department, with all necessary participation by each ship's captains. We will pay a special attention to;
 
 Work instructions, maintenance, calibration, inspection and test of equipments.
• Certificate of supplied products.
• Qualification and training of personnel.
 The needs and complaints of our customers.
 
Perception of quality will be created and improved for all units’ at all levels in hierarchy of the organization. All national and international improvements in quality are to be monitored and the out comes will be shared through out the organization. All factors that may have a negative impact to service quality standards are to be determined and urgent corrective actions will be taken in order to level with international standards. Application of whether service or managerial quality principles will be monitored at all levels. Continuous improvement and continuity of quality standards will be obtained. This policy is reviewed annually or in circumstances where significant change is noted.
